<------This is my sweet son , Micah maybe he's noticed a mistake in my draft?I have always appreciated, when I've written a paper, anyone who was willing to proofread, or listen to me read it aloud. It has always been a tremendous help, and usually an encouragement to me.Peer review is an excellent addition to a Composition class. The only thing I would add is an extra week of it. : ) Rough draft 1 rough draft 2, and then final.

ReplyDeleteI do the same thing, using anyone who wants to read it or listen. Thank goodness for my husband, and kids who have listened to all of my papers time and time again. I think they enjoy helping me and giving me their feedback. It makes them feel good to help their mom with her schoolwork for a change. I always tell them that you are never too old to learn something new. I think this is a good leason for them. As for your idea of an extra week of peer review, I agree. That would be a great thing to have the extra time to make adjustments. We are all so busy working on our own drafts, it would give us extra time to help each other more. Maybe be able to read more than just two of our peers papers. I am trying to, but it is really difficult. Best of luck to you with your final draft.
